DESCRIPTION:Register here\nLearning outcome – objectives\nThe course Beyond the Classroom: Exploring Nature\, Culture\, and Art will help participants to: \n\nIntegrate art into teaching to support students’ well-being.\nPlan and conduct lessons in urban environments.\nCombine learning beyond the classroom with “ordinary” classroom activities.\nUse activity approaches to foster motivation\, creative thinking\, and learning.\nExperience and implement activities in nature\, applying various subjects.\nDesign\, plan\, and share educational activities inspired by the environment.\nUnderstand the pedagogical and social benefits of learning beyond the classroom\n\nMonday \n\nIntroduction and presentation to the course beyond the Classroom: Exploring Nature\, Culture\, and Art\nIcebreaker activities\nAn out-door activity\nWelcome to a new European network; presentation from each participant (school / organization\, culture\, country – max 5 minutes)\n\nTuesday \n\nIntroduction to a day at the museum with focus on art\nBringing art into teaching and education by using a museum as space of possibilities\nEncountering and exploring professional visual art with students\n\nWednesday \nWe will travel together by ferry to the Island of Fanø \n\nIntroduction to a day on Fanø with focus on Nature and art  – connection to the landscape  through sketching.\nHow nature and landscape offer a space for teaching and interpretation\nLanguage\, mathematics or aesthetics – observing personal experience with our environment\nA walk on Fanø with paper and pen – experiencing history and connection to the unique nature in the Wadden Sea (a UNESCO world heritage site)\n\nThursday \n\nIntroduction to cross-curricular teaching through activities\n\nFocus on how various activities in teaching can contribute to motivation\, creative thinking\, and learning\nHow can the outdoor environment be actively incorporated into the planning of activities and teaching?\n\n\n\nFriday \n\nReflection on new methodology focusing on beyond the Classroom: Exploring Nature\, Culture\, and Art\, structures\, new European network\nAn outdoor activity\nEvaluation\, feedback\nPresentation and distribution of “certificate of attendance”\n\nWhat is included: \nNumber of lessons \n\n25 lessons / 5 days\n\nPrice \n\nEURO 450 (excl. VAT)\nincluding 1 x lunch and 1 x dinner\nferry-ticket to the island of Fanø\nentrance to museum\nguided tour through Esbjerg\nErasmus-documentation (“certificate of attendance”\, signatures on learning agreement etc.)\n\nParticipants \n\na minimum of 10 participants (and max 18)\n\nIn case of cancellation \n\nIn case of cancellation 1 month before the start of the course 50% of the fee will be refunded.\nIn case of cancellation less than 1 month before the start of the course the fee will not be refunded.\nIn case of unforeseen circumstances the participants are expected to be covered by their own insurance.\n\nRegister here\nRegistration (Google Formulas)
