Ulla has been teaching for 42 year in primary school (students age 5 to 12 years old). I focus on the use of games, playful learning and activities in teaching. I encourage students to apply what they have learned in practice. When we meet we will explore how the outdoor environment can be used in fx mathematics teaching. How to determine the height of a building?, how thick the is the wall? and what can be learnt and read from a stones and inscriptions. Geometry with patterns, symmetry, and transformations will be used.
